Greetings from one of the most Irish countries in the Western Hemisphere: Monserrat, where the St. Patrick’s Day celebration began early. On Sunday March 15, many gathered at St. Patrick Church in Lookout. They included (standing left to right) Pat Ryan, Nadia Browne, Roslynn Williams, Ingrid Osborne, Catherine Browne and Enver Browne (kneeling).
Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Osborne and Mrs. Catherine Browne, who are wearing the Montserrat national dress, are catechists. Mrs. Williams traveled from Ireland with her husband, Rev. David Williams, about whom Father George Agger SVD wrote in his most recent blog. From all of us to all of you, a blessed and happy St. Patrick’s Day!
